LIGHTING CANDLES AMIDST GUN VIOLENCE

Let us light a candle for those who have lost their lives due to gun violence the teachers, the caregivers, and especially the children

Let us light a candle for all who have been physically or mentally wounded due to gun violence may they find care that helps them in the struggle to heal

Let us light a candle for all of the families and friends of those killed or injured that they may find comfort in their grief and support for the road ahead

Let us light a candle for those who committed the violence that they may receive a fair trial and a just sentence

Let us light a candle for all of the first responders, caregivers, and good Samaritans may they know the gratitude of all those affected.

But most let us light a candle for the lawmakers and all those in power that they may hear the cries of everyone affected and realize now is the time to act to move towards meaningful action, towards practical legislative solutions

Dedicated to families who lost loved ones to violence

He knows my name
Yes, he knows my name

He knows my name

Yes, he knows my name

And oh, how he walks with me
Yes oh, how he talks with me
And oh how he tells me

That I am his own

You know my name
You know my name
You know my name

You know my name

And oh how you comfort me

And oh how you counsel me

Yet it still amazes me
That I am your friend

So now
I pour out
My heart to you

Here in
Your presence
I am made new

So now
I pour out
My heart to you

Here in
Your presence
I am made new

You know my name
You know my name

You know my name
Said you know my name (you know my name)

And oh how you walk with me
Oh how you talk with me (you talk with me)
Oh how you tell me
I am your own

Oh you got to know me

So I trust you with my life, yeah

No, no fire can burn me

No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
Cause you hold my hand

And now I'm walking in your victory
Cause your power is within me
No giant can defeat me
Cause you hold my hand

No fire can burn me
No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
All because (you hold my hand)

Oh and I'm walking, yeah, in your victory
Cause your power, it lives within me
No giant can defeat me
You hold my hand

I said no fire can burn me
No battle, it's already won
No mountain can stop me (not gonna stop me)
Cause you hold my hand ('cause you hold my hand)

Now I'm walking in your victory
Cause your power it lives within me
No giant can defeat me
You hold my hand ('cause you hold my hand)
